Got Questions? We Have Answers.
Everything you need to know about working with AIIVARS — from getting started to ongoing support.
How do I know if I need custom software?
If your team is spending significant time on manual, repetitive tasks, using spreadsheets or disconnected tools to manage core processes, or finding that off-the-shelf software does not fit your workflow — custom software can save time, reduce errors, and scale with your business. We can help you evaluate whether a custom solution makes sense during an initial consultation ($175/30 min).
What's the typical project timeline?
Most projects take 4 to 12 weeks depending on scope. Simple automation workflows or internal tools can be delivered in 4–6 weeks. More complex custom applications or AI integrations typically take 8–12 weeks. We provide a detailed timeline during the Strategy & Design phase so you know exactly what to expect.
Do you work with non-technical business owners?
Absolutely. Most of our clients are not technical, and that is perfectly fine. We translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate in plain language throughout the project. You do not need to know how to code to work with us — you just need to know your business.
What technologies do you use?
We are vendor-agnostic and choose the best tools for each project. Our team works with modern web frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue), backend technologies (Node.js, Python, Go), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis), and AI/ML platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models). We pick what works best for your specific needs.
Can you build AI features into existing software?
Yes. We frequently integrate AI capabilities into existing systems — whether that means adding intelligent automation, natural language processing, document analysis, or custom AI agents. We can work with your existing codebase and infrastructure to add AI-powered features without rebuilding from scratch.
Do you offer mobile app development?
Yes. We build cross-platform mobile applications using modern frameworks like React Native and Flutter, as well as native iOS and Android development when needed. We also build progressive web apps (PWAs) that work across all devices without needing app store distribution.
What does "vendor-agnostic" mean for AI?
It means we are not locked into any single AI provider. We evaluate and recommend the best AI tools and models for your specific use case — whether that is OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, or open-source models. This protects you from vendor lock-in, ensures you get the best performance and value, and means we can switch providers if a better option becomes available.
How do you ensure security?
Security is built into every project from day one — not bolted on after the fact. We follow industry best practices including encryption at rest and in transit, secure authentication, role-based access controls, regular dependency updates, and code security reviews. For projects handling sensitive data, we implement additional compliance measures as needed.
Can you integrate with our existing tools?
Yes. We regularly integrate with CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot), ERPs, accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero), communication platforms (Slack, Teams), payment processors (Stripe, Square), and other business tools. If it has an API, we can integrate with it. If it does not, we can often find alternative approaches.
Do you build with scalability in mind?
Always. Every solution we build is architected to grow with your business. We use cloud-native infrastructure, modular code architecture, and modern deployment practices so your software can handle increasing users, data, and complexity without needing a full rebuild down the road.
What does your development process look like?
We follow a five-stage process: Discovery (understanding your business and goals), Strategy & Design (architecture planning and technical spec), Build & Iterate (agile development with regular demos), Launch (deployment and go-live support), and Support & Scale (ongoing maintenance and feature additions). You have visibility into every stage and are involved in decisions throughout.
How do you handle changes mid-project?
Changes are expected and welcome — that is the whole point of agile development. Small adjustments within the original scope are handled naturally in sprint cycles. For larger scope changes, we discuss the impact on timeline and cost, get your approval, and adjust the plan accordingly. No surprises, no hidden fees.
Will I own the code?
Yes. You own 100% of the source code and intellectual property we create for you. It is yours from day one. We do not hold code hostage, charge licensing fees, or make it difficult to move to another provider if you choose to. Your code is your asset.
How quickly can we get started?
Fast. After your initial consultation, we can typically begin discovery within a week. For urgent projects, we can often start even sooner. The discovery and strategy phase usually takes 1–2 weeks, and then development begins immediately after.
How is pricing determined?
Pricing is based on project scope, complexity, and timeline. We offer three models: Project-Based (starting at $5,000 for fixed-price builds), Retainer (starting at $2,500/month for ongoing support), and Enterprise (custom pricing for dedicated teams). Your exact pricing is determined during the initial consultation ($175/30 min) after we understand your specific needs.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. For project-based work, we typically structure payments in milestones — a deposit upfront, payments at key milestones, and a final payment at launch. For retainers, billing is monthly. We are flexible and can work with you to find a payment structure that fits your cash flow.
What's included in ongoing support?
Ongoing support includes bug fixes, security updates, performance monitoring, minor feature enhancements, and technical guidance. The scope depends on your plan — Project-Based includes 30 days of post-launch support, Retainer includes dedicated monthly hours for development and maintenance, and Enterprise includes priority SLA with a dedicated team.
